Falkland Islands

They belong geographically to South America and consist of about 200 islands, the largest being East and West Falkland. In between runs the wide Falklandsund, where Port Howard lies. On its east coast facing the Atlantic lies the capital Stanley with about 2000 inhabitants.

There are 63 native bird species, including albatrosses. Penguin colonies that comprise several million animals breed on the coasts., in addition, one finds colonies of mane-seals, South American sea-bears and the southern sea-elephants. (Source: Wikipedia)
