WHERE MILK AND CHOCOLATE FLOW…

Gabi: What a happy smile!

As in all large cities, there are also many museums in Zurich and the surrounding area that are worth visiting. There is even a FIFA museum that was built under the aegis of Sepp Blatter. But most of the time it is empty – no wonder considering the many scandals that have shaken FIFA and continue to do so…

We were still in Mexico when we heard about the opening of the Lindt Chocolate Museum in Kilchberg, on Lake Zurich: Lindt Home of Chocolate. Already then we decided to pay a visit at this museum. (A chocolate fountain nine meters high – that’s how I imagine paradise!)

It was perfect that a friend from Namibia, signed up for a visit. (If I know someone who loves chocolate as much as I do, it’s Gabi from Swakopmund!) We spent two days with her, strolling through the vineyards in Weiningen and ate fondue in the evening. But Gabi and Brigitta’s visit to the Chocolate Museum, which they visited together yesterday, will remain unforgettable for both of them.

PS. I had not a better plan that day, but more important things to do: I wanted the doctor to confirm that I was fit for the next part of our journey. And that I can still eat chocolate!
