Argentina: Center

Argentina’s north-south extension is 3694 km, while its widest stretch is approximately 1423 km from west to east. The entire western border area is occupied by the Andes, the world’s longest continental mountain range. The Sierras Pampeanas mountain ranges lie between the Pampas and the Andes in central Argentina. These low mountain ranges reach altitudes of 2800 m in the Sierras de Cordoba and up to 6250 m in the Sierra de Famatine in La Rioja.(Source: Wikipedia)
