During our time with Charly, in Mexico, I not only learned how to drive a heavy motorcycle (BMW 1200), but I also learned how to make bread dough. (Brigitta said even then that I could also bake bread later.)
A few days ago we bought fresh wheat flour and a special mixture of grains in Swakopmund. As I set to work, I realized that my knowledge of making the bread dough had started to rust. how much water how much salt How much yeast? How and for how long to mix?
With the help of Brigitta I managed to make the dough mixture. Then it rested for an hour, but without opening. What was the reason? We asked Charly via WhatsApp, who told me where the error was. (The yeast must be mixed with sugar!)
