At Balneario Los Hervores we got to know not only Roberto but also his three cats. The tomcat, Leon, beloved by Roberto, would win any cat beauty contest. The queen cat, Roberto named it Tonchi, is Brigitta’s favorite. And this cat, just eight months old, gave birth to a kitten a few weeks ago. It has a black and white fur, high legs and is also a tomcat. We christened him Chamuco (Devil). But Brigitta said that Chamuquito (little devil) fits better.

Brigitta played with the young kitten every day. When Charly visited us, he wanted to take the cute kitten with him. But since it was still suckled by the mother, we promised to bring it to him when it was weaned. That would take another month. So, this time we drove to Charly without Chamuquito.

Yesterday Roberto informed us via WhatsApp that Chamuquito died on a trip with his mother to the river. We will miss the funny kitten during our next visit.

PS: Roberto lives alone with his cats. These accompany him at every turn. And Leon seems to be communicating with him. We have never met such a chatty Tomcat …
