We have already experienced many special days while traveling. Those that one would like to forget, but which are also remembered for that reason. And those that you fondly think back to. For example, on the day we learned that the quarantine in Namibia has been lifted for travelers!

Birthdays are also special days. They are even more special when they are celebrated in special places. Brigitta has already enjoyed celebrating her birthday several times during our travels. For example 1994 in Australia. 2003 in the White Desert of Egypt. 2007 on a deserted beach in Mexico. 2009 in Madagascar and 2010 in northern Ethiopia. 2017 we celebrated on the container ship Grande Amburgo – back then on the 34 day crossing from Hamburg to Montevideo. And we won’t forget the one from yesterday when we celebrated her 57th birthday in Swakopmund, Namibia. Happy Birthday!

Ps. We don’t know yet where we will celebrate our next birthdays. But it will most likely also o a journey – Inch ’Allah!
