ALMOST LIKE «DUBLER-MOHRENKÖPFE»

Everything under control!

A few weeks ago – we were in French Polynesia at the time – Charly sent us a WhatsApp. When I looked at the picture, my mouth watered. They had actually produced «Mohrenköpfe» – a typically Swiss specialty. And that without us! Alois and Charly gave their best. But the best wasn’t good enough for Charly …

On the first evening when we returned to Charly from Tahiti, he surprised us with a sweet message: On Monday, September 7th, 2020, at 11 am, we would do a second edition of «Mohrenköpfe» together; Version 1.2, so to speak. And today was the day. After Brigitta and I had cleaned our Toyota from head to toe with a Kärcher, we went to the bakery, which was more of a confectionery shop today. The team consisted of Ursula, who did the main work, Markus, Isabella, Thomas, Brigitta and me. And of course, Charly, who got the finest ingredients. The best thing was the special chocolate from Barry Callebaut, which is needed to coat the protein mass!

PS. Since too many cooks spoil the broth, I stayed in the background. When it came to licking the pans, however, I was there …
