Finder's Fee!
We have been playing golf regularly for some time now. We do a round at least twice a week to play nine holes, which takes two and a half hours. (We’ve never played 18 holes in one go!) We also enjoy playing golf because we always see lots of springboks. The young animals on their gawky legs get used to the golfers from birth. So, it is not surprising that they are not afraid of people. We are particularly fond of a young springbok: It’s an albino; but as we see, he is well received into the circle of others.
However, just because we’re playing more golf doesn’t mean we’ve gotten much better. Our handicap is still over 52! But we’re sticking with it; and in a few years we might be able to turn the number around! We can see that we are not the only ones who have trouble playing straight and hitting the hole because the groundskeepers keep finding golf balls in the bushes and tall grass. They then place them near the green where the ball should actually land in the hole. The positive thing about it: They get a finder’s fee from those who are happy to buy their balls and those of others cheaply!
PS: Another advantage of playing golf: you can already get used to the walker! Even then you push a cart in front of you – it simply doesn’t have any golf clubs on board…
