Many people dream of going on a trip again. Something that has gotten complicated in times of Covid-19. There are many things to clarify: Which test do I need when I leave? Which test do I need on the return journey? Do I have to be quarantined in the country I am traveling to? Is the country I’m traveling to on Switzerland’s quarantine list?

And there are actually people who take all of this to visit us. These include Sonja, a former colleague of Brigitta at Swiss Life, Micha, her husband and Rea and Vivienne, her two daughters. We met the four of them on April 26, 2021 at Spitzkoppe, a 700-meter-high «Inselberg» that is around two hundred kilometers from the coast. What a reunion after we were invited to their home for Raclette last November. That evening there was also Raclette – with good cheese from Switzerland. What a feast! What a reunion!

PS. The Emmi raclette ovens with candles work well when there is no wind. It wasn’t that evening. Micha put the pans on the grill in the campfire. Now it was done in no time – there was «Speed Raclette».
