Special circumstances require special measures. As in other countries, the serving of alcohol in restaurants on weekends in Namibia has been banned since the Covid crisis. When it comes to drinks sales for the landlord and the guests to enjoy alcohol, there is always a solution!
For example, by camouflaging the Sparkling Wine and serving it in a tea mug with the appropriate cups. Instead of Rooibos tea, the mug contains a Sparkling Wine. Necessity is the mother of invention! PS. It seemed a bit strange that we were served the Sparkling Wine in teacups instead of champagne glasses. But we quickly got used to it …
