Importing beer into Mexico is like «selling ice to Eskimos». Mexico has two large breweries and they brew very good beer. One of them, the Corona, which is valued and drunk all over the world. The fact is that the virus that is currently shaking the world does not harm this beer. On the contrary, play on words were created around the world with the theme of the Corona.

But even in Mexico, people like to grab from time to time a German imported beer. They then have names like Erdinger, Moninger or Hatz. Luis, the graphic designer in the cartoon shop who produced diplomas and stickers for us, is also an importer of German beers. When I was with him recently, I bought three bottles of dark beer from Moninger. I was given a few beermats for that. I then discovered the German Purity Law on the back. I had already heard of that; but since then I know what makes good German beer!
